My whole life, I have lived at the crossroads of different worlds. Growing up in diversity, I feel welcome in Etterbeek.

For Etterbeek is a vibrant heart of Europe, and a heart truly flourishes when it opens itself to the world beyond.

By embracing the many cultures and languages of our warm community, by pursuing policies that look beyond the borders of our own municipality, and by learning from the good examples of other cities in Belgium, but certainly also beyond, we can break down barriers and build bridges.

In this way, we can reach out to one another. For only together can we move forward.
