What does Volt stand for? / Volt policy groundwork

Our policy portfolio

Our policy portfolio (ergo mapping of policies) is a constantly evolving work that outlines the policies proposed by Volt. The portfolio is not a political program.

The adopted policies have all been approved by members of Volt and are thus to be considered official policies. Future policies or programs will be build on or based on these documents.

Hereunder you find the policy portfolio documents from Volt Belgium and Volt Europa. The different portfolios go hand-hand-in.

The 5+1 Challenges

Volt has defined 5+1 fundamental Challenges that need to be tackled in each European country and in Europe as a whole.

Why 5 + 1 Challenges?

The 5 Challenges are basically the same for every country, but their implementation can be adapted on the national level to take into account local realities.

The +1 Challenge – our proposal to reform and strengthen the EU – is identical across all our national programmes.
