Jana Masarčová

Leaving Slovakia almost 20 years ago, Jana has made Tervuren her home. A convinced polyglot, she speaks nine languages, including Dutch, of course. Jana has built her career in Europe and the United States. "I graduated in management and business administration. I have lived here for quite some time now, working in various capacities within EU institutions," says Jana.

"Volt allows everyone to get on board and participate in politics. And in Tervuren it's so important because we're amazingly diverse," says Jana.

Skilled as a program and people manager, overseeing digital transformation of human resources systems, Jana is committed to greater gender equality, be that in our working lives or in Tervuren itself. Jana has volunteered to head up Lean In to help women achieve their ambitions and enable companies to build inclusive workplaces where women of all identities are supported and empowered.

Putting our pan-European vision into practice, Jana has been campaigning hard to support Volt in Slovakia at June elections to the European Parliament.
