"Not all quiet on the Eastern front" - Europe Unites against bullies & Hybrid World War
It's been three years since Putin's Russian troops massively invaded Ukraine, bringing total war back to Europe after 80 years.
Alliance4Europe, Volt Belgium, PromoteUkraine and GRASPE invite you to demonstrate on “our” Place Lux, to show that civil servants in the EU institutions — originally also created to maintain peace in our continent — together with many Belgian residents, will stand by citizens of the militarily aggressed neighbours of Russia — until all unwanted soldiers are back in Russia.
Furthermore, are you aware that it’s been 10 years that Russia is waging a Hybrid World War (#HyWoWa) against ALL of Europe?
Hybrid Warfare was theorised in the US in 2007, but it is Russia who first developed a Hybrid World War doctrine in 2013 and applied it against all of Europe, since 2014. The "Gerasimov Doctrine," emphasizes the use of non-military means to achieve political and strategic goals. This includes the use of propaganda, cyber warfare, economic pressure and political subversion, alongside conventional military force. The key element in all this is “plausible deniability” so that Russia should never be seen as a state aggressor, to disallow NATO or other country retaliation. Let’s show Putin and Gerasimov that their dirty games will not fool or tame us. Putin will remain accused by International courts and Russia under international sanctions.

Ukraine (but also Chechnya, Georgia and Syria) faced direct military aggression. Armenia & Moldova have unwelcomed (today) Russian troops on their soil, but the 298 citizen of Malaysia Airlines Flight MH17 — shot down over eastern Ukraine in 2014 — came from NL, BE, DE, UK and 6 other non-EU countries.
Since then, EU residents have been murdered or abducted by the dozen, EU hospitals have been shut down, gas pipelines to Europe cut or blocked, internet cables ripped off from the Baltic seabed. Most of all, our EU social media and politics have been relentlessly attacked daily by sophisticated schemes — often led by Russian actors and hackers. Alliance4Europe is defending European democracies and citizens from these hybrid attacks. For example, by training and partnering with more than 1000 NGOs so they can spot and report them to our military. Yes, NATO considers these as acts of war and will retaliate against the worst ones, such as the recent manipulation of TikTok to elect Calin Georgescu as President of Romania.
